Development Assessment Application - Combined Application

This application lodgement process only applies to CairnsPlan 2016 applications.
For Development Applications using the Cairns Planning Scheme 2009 (Superseded Planning Scheme), please lodge your application directly with Council in person.

  • Online applications can be made via desktop or laptop devices. Mobile devices (e.g. smartphones, tablets) are not currently supported.
  • This is a lodgement service only and acceptance of this application does not constitute a Properly Made Application. Council officers will contact you in due course to advise whether the application is properly made.
  • A Properly Made Material Change of Use Application requires:
    • IDAS Forms 1, 5 & 7,
    • the relevant fee, and
    • mandatory supporting information (section 4 of IDAS Form 5 and section 11 of IDAS Form 7).
    • IDAS Form 4 is also required for a Local Heritage Place (Place of significance).
  • Council reserves the right to request additional fees if required once the application is received and the scope of the application assessed.
