Permission to Build Over/Adjacent to Sewer Mains

Online applications can be made via desktop or laptop devices. Mobile devices (e.g. smartphones, tablets) are not currently supported.
Please allow up to 20 business days for assessment of your application. This time frame may increase if further information or approvals are required.
There are two options available in the application:
- Build over sewer main
  Build over or within 1.2 metres of Councils sewer main. This fee includes Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) of the sewer main.
- Build adjacent to sewer main
  This includes appraisal of the plans, approval and inspections in relation to the sewer main.
  Additional fees may be required depending on the age and material type of Council's sewer main. A Council Plumbing Inspector will determine this requirement at the time of assessment of the application.
Relevant plans and documents must accompany the application.
Fees and charges.
Upon successful receipt of the application and payment, a Tax Invoice will be forwarded via email within 2 business days.
