- All questions on the following page must be answered before Trade Waste Approval can be given.
- The application fee is payable at the time of lodgement. Additional fees may apply if a pre-treatment system is approved not to be installed. These additional fees will be payable via a separate invoice prior to a valid Trade Waste Approval being issued.
- This application must be lodged by a person who has the authority both to make the statements set out in this application form and give the following undertakings.
- I undertake to Cairns Regional Council that I have the authority to make the statements set out within this application and give the undertakings set out below.
- If Cairns Regional Council approve the Occupier application to discharge Trade Waste to a Council Sewer, the Occupier will:
- Comply with all the conditions of any Trade Waste Approval and;
- Ensure that all plumbing and drainage work on the site complies with all requirements of, the relevant plumbing and drainage acts, codes and any Trade Waste requirements imposed by Cairns Regional Council and;
- Pay all fees and charges associated with trade waste approval.
- IMPORTANT: It is against the law for you to discharge trade waste until you have a current trade waste approval. If you discharge trade waste without an approval, you could be liable for an Infringement Notice issued to you and denied trade waste approval.
