- After lodgement of this application, Cairns Regional Council will contact the applicant and provide a fee estimate, prior to commencement of the works. Cairns Regional Council endeavours to carry out the works within 20 business days of receiving the signed fee estimate acceptance remittance.
- As the applicant, you are required to agree to pay all costs incurred while carrying out of works and/or services.
- Applications will not be deemed complete unless the five (5) items listed below are completed and attached (as necessary):
- Owner Consent - Please click here to download the electronic owner consent form which needs to be uploaded with your application
- Completed Application for Water Meter or Subdivisional Connection
- Engineer/Hydraulic Consultant Certificate (Not required for Subdivisional Connections)
- For Water Services & Fire Hydrants - Hydraulic Plans are required
- For Subdivisional Connections - Copy of Operational Works Plan is required
- Note: No deposit is required for 20-50mm water services, fire hydrants or subdivisional connections
